Office and Retail Development - York University

The development provides 17000 m2 of office space and 15000 m2 of retail space over three floors at the centre of York University campus.

Design & Build of electrical services

The centre is split into several retail units, a mini market and offices for college staff.

EMCE designed and installed all building electrical services. In house AUTOCAD 2000 installation drawings and specifications were produced for client acceptance before the project commenced.

The office areas are equipment with under floor trunking to accommodate small power and data services, allowing flexibility of open plan design. Fire protection is afforded by an addressable Gent 3400 Vigilon fire alarm system which is networked to a central control room for site wide monitoring.
